Follow Through

Yesterday, I posted my plan to begin getting up earlier to attend yoga classes. This morning I followed through on that goal.

The class I went to has a great instructor. She has a really entertaining energy that I think will be good for me. She kept the class lighthearted while still giving us enough direction.

 I didn't feel as dopey as usual this morning, even though I didn't get coffee or breakfast until after the class. Next time, I might bring green tea to drink on the way to class because I enjoy having something hot in the morning, but getting out of my two to four coffee a day habit would probably be good for my health and my wallet.


Disappointed But Not Surprised

Dear Internet,
It has been 3 months since I last posted. I have eaten like a binge eater, exercised like a couch potato, and backslid into a toxic relationship. I have had an all-around unhealthy set of months.

I definitely need to pull my act together. My body and soul feel terrible.

This last weekend, I began to fix the issues. I went on a hike with a friend and I went on my first run since my marathon in early March. I also broke up with the ex that I had gotten involved with again. I have not yet dealt with my food choices, but that is going to start on May 1st. One thing at a time please.
